Hello, Happy Monday! I am back on the Seven Hills Crafts blog sharing a card made with a mix of The Greetery Wildwood, old and new!
The Wildwood stamps, dies and sentiments dies were released a couple of years ago and they remain such a lovely collection. This year, Betsy at The Greetery took some of the pretty floral images from the original Wildwood stamp and turned them into stand-alone dies for creating a gorgeous floral bouquet. They're perfect for creating dramatic and dimensional focal points!
Whilst the new Wildwood Bouquet die is a slightly different size, it still works beautifully with the original set, allowing you to create coordinating background images that pair perfectly with the dimensional blooms. Of course, the original Wildwood collection still holds its own as a standalone suite too.
I stamped my background using the multi-step stamps (which was much easier than I thought!) and ran it through the Pierced Plaid pierce plate for some texture. It's one of my new favourite dies! I then die cut the Wildwood Bouquet flowers and ink blended them to match my stamped background.
I stamped and heat-embossed a small panel using the Ciao Bella Borders stamps and dies, along with a sentiment from the set. I then adhered the panel to my card base, cut apart the flowers from the bouquet and popped them along the bottom. I just love how it came out.
If you've been tempted by the new Wildwood Bouquet die, the original Wildwood set is well worth a look too. The stamped florals create the perfect coordinating backdrop for the dimensional blooms, giving you even more ways to stretch your supplies.
